Exclusive practical demonstrations

LMT has gained the support of Liebherr-Verzahntechnik, Meissner AG, K.R. Pfiffner and WEEKE Bohrsysteme to act as partners in a number of practical demonstrations. Each of these events will give viewers exclusive insights into the world of machining in a 15-minute webcast. Among other things, the video streams will show the production of large gearwheels, the use of thread rolling heads on a rotary transfer machine, the milling of complex geometries in die and mould making as well as the machining of plastics and composite materials.

Specialist presentations and discussions

Discussions and lectures on present and future trends in manufacturing industry and tool technology will be a central focus of the programme at the LMT booth. This series of events will begin on Tuesday, 28 September 2010 with a panel discussion on “Growth Opportunities for (German) Toolmakers”. Additional highlights of the week include specialist talks by Professor Rüdiger Haas of Karlsruhe University of Applied Sciences and Eckehard Kalhöfer of Aalen University of Applied Sciences.

Tool innovations in use

Once a day (from Wednesday to Friday at 11:00 a.m.), LMT will be broadcasting live from the Technology Centre in Schwarzenbek and presenting the latest tool innovations in practical applications.
